Happy Monday and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you had a lovely weekend. I took advantage of the cold weather this week! I sat in front of the fire and wrote some more of my book. I started a children’s book years ago but I never finished that one. Saying that, I can’t believe how much more I know now since studying at uni, so my first book was pretty crap in hindsight. It’s all a learning curve. I love the one I am currently writing and have received good feedback from my tutor and our group so far. Exciting times!
What have you been up to?
Feature Of The Week
This week’s feature is Anne and her post – Christmas Decorations from Etsy. The Christmas shopping starts and Anne has shared some lovely ideas from Etsy. I do like to help small businesses where I can and Etsy is a lovely place to shop.
So if you are looking for some ideas then please do pop Anne’s blog if you haven’t already.
Now it’s time to share these wonderful blogs. Thank you so much for joining in. Have a fab week.
Let’s Get Linking Up!

HOW THIS LINKY WORKS (NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ).
Firstly, If you are new here, welcome to our lovely group! Monday Morning Blog Club is a weekly homepage linky for bloggers. Share your blog with our friendly bunch and get some post love. Simply link up your blog homepage below and others can choose which post they would like to comment on. Please do not link up with individual posts.
Finally, please try to comment on at least a couple of other blogs in our blogging group, it’s nice to be nice. I will, of course, be popping by everyone’s blog for a read over the next couple of days. It’s a great way to give your blog exposure, you will discover fab content and make lots of blogging friends along the way. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
It sounds like you had a lovely weekly. Good luck with your book! Thank you for hosting and I hope you have a great week. x
Thanks lovely! Hope you have a great week too! x
Congratulations on the progress with your book! It’s inspiring to hear about your dedication to writing. Learning and growing from your first attempt at a children’s book is such a valuable experience. Keep embracing the journey, and I’m thrilled to hear your current book is receiving positive feedback.
Have a great week ahead!
Aw, thanks so much Amila! Congrats on your recent feature with Twinkl too! Have a lovely week. 🙂
Thanks for featuring my post Jayne, I love Etsy so much I spend way too much time browsing there 🙂
I also wanted to add well done on re-starting your book. I did exactly the same, I actually got my book accepted by a publisher but they wanted so many re-writes that I just gave up in the end! Maybe I should start afresh.
Thanks Anne! Wow, I didn’t know about you getting as far as a publisher! That’s brill. You so should get back to working on your book. At least you know what to expect now and you can implement that into your new book. Good luck! x
That’s great that you took time to work more on your book this weekend. I spent some time writing this past weekend too. It’s sometimes hard to make time for it, but I’m always glad when I do.
