I haven’t got half the things done that I wanted to do. I’ve spent pretty much all of the weekend doing my tax return and the rest catching up on the massive washing pile. This girl knows how to live haha!
How was yours?

  1. Oh, what a nostalgic read! I love the 80s stuff I remember weekends used to be a karaoke VHS tape and near my extended family would meet up to sing Madonna and all the 80s Classics. I love the days without the Internet so widely available because we did so much together. There were more movie night and board games and there was no bribing anyone to sit together to enjoy those.

The best thing about the 2000s was when 80s fashion came back in. I was able to go through my moms old clothes and wear those leg warmers and colourful knits without looking silly. These days, you can dress in 80s style, and you would look so cool and because of that I love going vintage to relive those 80s moments

    1. This is so true Wendy! We used to spend hours outside playing kerby and riding our bikes. It was more social for sure.
Funny how fashion does a full circle as well. 😊

  2. I’m not an 80s child but an 80s Mum and I remember it well, my girls loved their ra ra skirts and who doesn’t love Dirty Dancing one of my favourite films ever. The Rubik’s cube used to drive me mad but my girls loved it, it kept them quiet for ages.

  3. It seems like you had a busy and fast week. It was the same with me. I am back from a two weeks holiday and I spent the whole last week washing cloths and cleaning and arranging the house 🙂
I hope you will have a lovely week ahead!

  4. We had a blink and you missed it weekend but only because we were at a nearby country show. We’re having a massive catch up today.
Thanks for hosting and have a great week. x

  5. I will go and have a read of the 80s decade! I love 80’s music because it reminds me so much of the fun times I had as a teenager!
