A desktop with a block calendar reading August 1st. There is also a blue pen holder, a paper stapler and a pair of black glasses.

Happy Monday and welcome to this week’s #MMBC and the first one of August! How are we here already?! I seemed to have blinked and missed July totally.
With that said, I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend and for those with children at home, I hope you are enjoying the summer holidays.
Don’t forget, It’s not necessarily about where you’re going or what you have planned, it’s about having some down time and enjoying some quality time with family that counts. So please don’t fall victim to the pressures of social media, and feel like you aren’t doing enough. You do you, and what makes you and your kiddies happy this summer, whether that be a simple picnic in the garden or a yes day! Memories are made regardless of the cost, but usually, the best ones are free!

Feature Of The Week

This week’s feature is Kim and her post – 50 outdoor family activities to do this summer! Kim has shared loads of ideas for getting the kids outside and having fun. There are quite a few inexpensive activities that can in fact be enjoyed for free. Please do pop by for a read if you haven’t already.

Now it’s time to share these wonderful blogs. Have a great week! x

HOW THIS LINKY WORKS (NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ).

Firstly, If you are new here, welcome to our lovely group! Monday Morning Blog Club is a weekly homepage linky party for bloggers. Share your blog with our friendly bunch and get some post love. Simply link up your blog homepage below and others can choose which post they would like to comment on. Please do not link up with individual posts.

Finally, please try to comment on at least a couple of other blogs, it’s nice to be nice. I will, of course, be popping by everyone’s blog for a read over the next couple of days. It’s a great way to give your blog exposure, you will discover fab content and make lots of blogging friends along the way. Winner winner, chicken dinner!

I would also like to add, as I welcome all niches to this link-up, I can appreciate that there may be times when you feel uncomfortable commenting on certain topics. That is totally fine and you are under no obligation to comment, simply choose someone else to visit.

  1. I really can’t believe it’s August, this year is flying over. We don’t have much planned for the summer holidays apart from a couple of trips to the cinema. My eldest is working and my youngest is out with friends lots. Ellie did some baking the other day, inexpensive and had the best time.
Thank you for featuring me. Have a great week. x

  2. Summer has gone by too fast. My kids go back to school in two weeks. I can hardly believe it. We have had so much fun this summer. I agree as a blogger there is so much pressure and it is easy to get caught up in social media. I have been there, and pulled back. Family is way more important.
Anyways have a great week and thanks for hosting a great party.

  3. As my daughter started school last year, this is her first summer holidays and I’m loving spending time with her and her brother while I get the chance 😎❤️
