Power Charge Bumblebee Review

Power Charge Bumblebee Review

My eldest has loved Transformers for some time now and Bumblebee is his favourite robot of all. You can imagine how excited he is to be waiting for the release of Bumblebee the movie which is released over Christmas. To add to his excitement, he has been sent his very own Power Charge Bumblebee as being part of the Hasbro Toy Tribe!

Power Charge Bumblebee Age 6+ yrs

Bumblebee stands at an impressive height of 11 inches tall. As with all Transformers, Bumblebee has a powerful core made of Energon. Spin Bumblebee’s core on his chest to charge him up ready for battle and instantly activate sounds and lights. There are 25 sounds and phrases in total that make Bumblebee even more fun to play with.

Batteries are required for this toy. It does come with 1 x AA battery but this is a demo one only, so be sure to have some as a back up for when it runs out.

It takes 17 steps to transform Bumblebee from a robot to a yellow VW beetle. I must admit it does seem rather tricky on the first attempt. There is no way Jayden would have remained patient enough to have done it on his own. My husband managed to transform him in around 15-20 minutes, but I suppose after a few more attempts it would become easier to do.

Everything fits snuggly and the finished car is sturdy and secure. You can charge Bumblebee’s core in car mode by pushing the car along the floor to activate rev sounds. Keep Bumblebee’s core charged or he will power down!

Battle Mode!

Put Bumblebee into battle mode by equipping him with his battle mask and his signature stinger sword both inspired by the Bumblebee movie.

This is such an awesome toy and Jayden absolutely loves it. I think this would make a lovely Christmas gift for all Bumblebee fans out there.

Available from all good toy stores and Amazon.

*We were sent this product as we are part of the Hasbro Toy Tribe. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own and 100% honest.

    That is so cool!
I have missed out on Transformers because my girls are not into them but I remember them from when my brother had some when he was a kid. This looks so much cooler x
