Brio World Crane And Mountain Tunnel Review

Brio World Crane And Mountain Tunnel Review

My youngest was really excited to have had another delivery from one of his favourite play set brands BRIO just the other day. Joben loves the Brio World sets and he has been enjoying the new Crane and Mountain Tunnel Set that is suitable for 3+ years.

What You Get

1 x Mountain with Crane

1 x Cargo engine

1 x Figure

1 Wagon and load

2 x Track pieces

This Brio playset is really easy to put together, which can be done so in a matter of minutes.
The Mountain and Crane tunnel playset is designed to be able to use as an addition to other Brio World playsets, so this would be no use on its own.  We have quite a few sets now so the options as to how we can have the tracks are just endless.

You will need 2 x AA batteries for your Crane and Mountain Tunnel (which are not included). Once your batteries are in, four different sounds can be activated as the train passes through the tunnel.

The crane above can be controlled by the little figure (we’ve named him Barry) which comes with the set. Turn the winch to lift or lower the crane and maybe find some gold! I really like how you can detach the crane and the top of the mountain and use the crane on the tracks below.

The magnetic fixture on the crane will pick up the load with ease.

Barry is compatible with all Brio vehicles as you can see ours is busy driving the forklift from our Lift and Load Warehouse playset.

As I have mentioned earlier on we have quite a few sets now and toys such as this one can take up a little room when you start collecting them, so I would suggest getting yourself some big storage boxes to store them in. As with some Brio sets, once you get them out of the box and assemble them, you won’t be able to get them back in the boxes afterwards. Storage boxes keep them all together and give more space should you add to your collection.

I think this is a lovely addition to existing Brio World toys and although it can seem a little steep at £49.99 it can be used over and over again in different ways with different track layouts and scenery.

This looks like a fantastic set. My girls would have loved something like this when they were little. I like that you can keep adding to it. It would be a fab gift for Christmas x
