My two boys have always been big fans of Brio. My eldest has passed that stage now as he has just turned eight this year, however, my youngest still loves Brio World. We recently tried out the Brio Lift and Load Warehouse which got a big thumbs up from my little Brio fan. He was also sent the Green Travel Train to test out.
Brio World Green Travel Train Age 3+
I was quite surprised on opening up the packaging to find that the train is actually made from plastic. I do love that Brio World is mainly wooden toys, so it would have been nice if this was the case with the train. Saying that, it hasn’t stopped my youngest wanting to play with the train, it’s just a personal preference of mine.
The set comes with 2 engines and a centre carriage. The roof opens up on all three units enabling you to pop a character inside. You do get a little driver figure which is included as standard in this set. You can use as many or as little carriages as you like by connecting them together with the magnetic fittings.
It is a perfect size and shape for little hands to hold and they can whizz it around the brio wooden tracks. It is compatible with all playsets, which is one thing I like about Brio, that you can keep on adding additional pieces for more fun!
I think it is a lovely little toy and one that my youngest can enjoy with the rest of his Brio collection for some time to come.
