We’ve been keeping ourselves busy over the holidays so far and I’ve been making sure that the boys have plenty of summer activities to be getting on with. Joben was recently sent the fab new Chicco Basket League to try and he’s pretty good at it too!
Chicco Basket League Age 2-5 Years
The Chicco Basket League comes in several pieces and it is really simple to put together. There are a few screws needed for assembly so make sure you have a screwdriver to hand. It took only ten minutes to build and to put the stickers on. You can also adjust the height between two settings to suit each individual player. I personally think it could be a little higher as I see the top setting being far too low for a child of 5. My little one is 3 and you can see he towers it.
I love the giant hi-top trainers for a stand. It is almost cartoon-like which makes it more fun for the younger ones.
There are two different modes to play in. Shoot the basket, where you have to score 3 slam dunks to win or Countdown, where you have to score as many slam dunks as possible before the time runs out!
When the ball passes through the hoop it presses against a tab and activates music and cheering sounds.
Not only is Basket League fun to play with it is brilliant for bringing on the following skills –
Improves hand-eye coordination
Encourages gross motor skills
