Dyson Pure Cool Tower TP04 Air Purifier

Dyson Pure Cool Tower TP04 Air Purifier

Spring is finally here. The lighter nights are so much more favourable and the warmer weather is on its way. I love this time of year. I seem to get twice as much done. I think to see the sun out, being able to have the windows wide open and a line full of washing, just makes me more productive. What better time to have a good clear out of unused goods and give the house a good Spring clean? I don’t mind cleaning to be honest, and my Dyson Light Ball Vacuum does most of the hard work for me. But when you think of a Spring clean, do you consider the air quality in your rooms needs to be cleaned too? Neither did I until I received the Dyson Pure Cool Tower TP04 Air Purifier from the lovely guys at AO.com.

A Real Spring Clean With Dyson

It really is surprising just how much dust can be in a household. No matter how clean the home, dust particles are always lurking around, giving allergy sufferers a hard time. I had no idea just what pollutions are present in the air of our family home, that was until I started to use the Dyson Pure Cool Tower TP04  Air Purifier.

This clever piece of kit can detect and remove 99.5% of allergens and pollutions from the air. It projects and circulates purified air using Air Multiplier™ technology.  I couldn’t wait to see what it detected in our home. If we are checking out gases then I can give you a thorough break down, as living in a house full of boys, things can get very ‘windy’!

Assembly

The Purifier comes in one piece. The filters simply stack together and click into place. They are then inserted into the tower base and securely click together at the sides.

I love how stylish the unit looks. It integrates into our living room perfectly. It’s also ultra safe if you have little ones as there are no moving parts.

I was surprised just how many settings this purifier has. And all are controlled with a super sleek remote, by the Dyson link app and also Alexa.
As you can see by our screenshot we are monitoring the quality of air in our living room, by using the Dyson link app on our iPad. It gives a reading of outside and indoors for comparison. I like that you can control the settings with the iPad once connected. It’s just one of the many cool features that this has.

Features

The led display shows what pollution, if present, is in your room. It detects and reports the following –

Indoor air quality.

Particulate matter smaller than 10 microns, including pollen, dust and pet matter.

Particulate matter smaller than 2.5 microns, such as bacteria, allergens and smoke.

Nitrogen Dioxide, such as cigarette smoke, candles and gas stoves.

Volatile organic compounds, such as aerosol sprays and air fresheners.

Reports filter life so you can be sure when to replace them.

You can also choose how you would like the unit to oscillate the air around the room.

My eldest was diagnosed with asthma when he was a toddler so this air purifier is going to make a whole lot of difference for him. In fact, anybody who suffers from allergies would hugely benefit from a Dyson purifier. I am really impressed with how fresh the room feels when the purifier is running. I can also see it being incredibly handy come the hot Summer days, when temperatures soar.

Come the cooler months though, you can still enjoy the TP04 air purifier as the clever people at Dyson have added vents at the sides.  You can switch the air flow from forward facing to side blowing at the press of a button. This then gives you all of the benefits of the purification unit but with no fan effect! We will now be sitting in comfort and enjoying fresh air indoors as well as out, thanks to Dyson and AO.com.

My daughter had asthma when she was younger, could be scary at times, maybe this would have helped. Interesting, thanks!

This looks amazing – I have asthma, my girls may potentially have it and I also have dust allergy so to be able to monitor the air quality and see the tangible improvement it’s making is really appealing to me.
