Casdon Mr Kipling Tea Set Review

Casdon Mr Kipling Tea Set Review

My youngest loves imaginative play. He often goes into his own little world, chatting away to himself whilst reenacting things that I do, such as vacuuming or driving like me in his little car. So when we were kindly sent the fab Mr Kipling Tea Set I knew he was going to love it.

Mr Kipling Tea set Age 3-8 Yrs

There are so many lovely little accessories in this set. The stand comes in 4 pieces and is really easy to assemble and there are some little stickers to pop on the sign which are included in the contents. The lovely cake stand is filled with replicas of Mr Kipling’s tasty cakes. I have spotted some of my favourites! There is a Cherry Bakewell, Battenberg, Angel Slice, Jam Tart and some French Fancies. Also included is a teapot, milk jar, sugar bowl, cups and saucers, plates and cutlery.

The feature I really like is how it can be used as a puzzle. Each cake has a shape cut out underneath which corresponds to a shape on the cake stand. An excellent way to introduce shapes and helps to encourage problem-solving and motor skills too.

The vibrant colours are visually stimulating. I think the more colourful kids toys are, the better.

Everybody loves a tea and cake afternoon and Joben is no exception. He quite fancied the Bakewell Tart! Which I think is a very good choice, don’t you?!

Joben really seemed to enjoy his new tea set. It will make a nice addition to the play kitchen that he has. I think we will be having lots of imaginary cups of tea made for us from now on!

Available at all good toy stores.

I love this set and I was really hoping we would be picked to review it because I know both my girls would love it too. They love bringing me pretend tea and food (I’m trying to teach my eldest to use the kettle safely so she can bring me tea). I love that the cakes are plastic versions of the actual Mr Kipling food
