Sticky Mud and Belly Laughs

CHristmas party food. Special dietary Christmas food.

A Christmas Spread For Everyone

We are on the countdown to the big day and we are so excited! Of course, Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and with that comes plenty of partying! And if you are like us, lots of Christmas snacks.

I love Christmas party food and putting a good spread on. There is always plenty to go around at our house. From mini quiches, Vol-au-vents,  mini pizzas, chicken satay, cheese straws, sausage rolls, profiteroles, nuts, gateaux, you name it we have it on our table! But what if one of your guests has an allergy or special dietary requirements? It’s no fun turning up to a party only to find that you can’t eat hardly any or none of the buffet! So with a little thought, everybody can enjoy your festive nibbles.

Special Dietary Christmas Food

RealFoods have been selling natural organic food for over 50 years. Their two branches can be found in Edinburgh and their webshop supplies food nationwide. They deliver vegan, vegetarian, free-from, fairtrade and healthy produce directly to your door.

From vegetarian shortbread, gluten-free macaroons, vegan sweets, gluten free crisps and much more. Now that’s the party snacks sorted, all you have to worry about is great aunts’ dodgy Charades!

Merry Christmas!

Hi Jayne, I do enjoy a Christmas nibble, and I’m lucky enough to be able to enjoy all foods without giving it a second thought… Except for calories maybe! It’s great that there are companies that do make food for people with special dietary requirements.

It looks like a delicious spread and with all the dietary requirements due to allergies, religion and personal preferance I think it’s great that there is still so much choice so that everyone can dig in and enjoy.
