I don’t know about you, but we are all for sweet treats in our house. Especially when they only take a matter of minutes to prepare! So when we had a little delivery from Dr Oetker, we couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
Dr Oetker Pud In A Mug
I love a good pud in a mug. You see so many different variations on Pinterest. We have been trying out Dr Oetkers range of Pud in a mug. They are all super easy to make. All you need to do is empty your sachet into a smallish sized mug, add 60ml semi-skimmed milk and stir until smooth. Finally, pop it in the microwave and heat up as instructed on the pack.
Banana And Chocolate Chip Heaven!
I love anything that tastes of bananas so I bagged this one! All of the Dr Oetker pud in a mug sponges cook in under 2 minutes.
It tasted as good, if not better than I expected it to. The chocolate chips went really well with the banana. I would definitely team this up with a bit of custard next time. Only I was too greedy and just wanted to gobble it up.
Craig opted for the chocolate chip pud. Although tasty, it did feel a little on the dry side. Saying that, this might be due to trying the others prior to this one, which are both really moist. So I would imagine this would go best with a little ice-cream, just to soften it up a little.
Jayden loved this. It is exactly what it states on the pack. part the sponge with your spoon to find the gorgeous rich chocolate just oozing out. He devoured every last bit and had the famous chocolate moustache to prove it afterwards!
I think these are a fab idea and perfect to keep in the cupboard when you fancy a treat. I know we will be stocking up, that’s for sure!
Available at most supermarkets from only 85p.
What do you think of these?
