Sticky Mud and Belly Laughs

We Are Winter Ready With Bassetts Multivitamins

Carpets of crispy golden leaves cover the ground and Winter is almost upon us. I must admit I do love Winter, it is one of my favourite seasons of all. However, as a family we have to prepare for the colder months a little more than most people.

Craig, as some will know, is post heart transplant. He has a very low immunity due to the drugs he has to take daily. Although it’s not something we can always control, we can take little steps to ensure we are all healthy and happy through the colder months. Not just for Craig’s well being but as a family too.

Beating The Flu

The first thing which makes sense to us is to get vaccinated against the flu virus. We all get immunised. I like that the flu spray is readily available to little ones. It is quick and pain-free with very few side effects.

We love getting out and about and Winter is no exception! We wrap up warm and go for walks in the woods and even visit the beach. With the help of Bassetts chewy multivitamins, there are #nodulldays for us during the colder months.

Public Health England advise that everyone needs an average daily intake of 10 micrograms of Vitamin D, to protect bones and muscle health. This generally comes from the sunlight but as this lessens during Winter, it is recommended to maintain this with vitamin supplements.

Bassetts chewy multivitamins aged 3-6 years cost £5.50 for a pack of 30 pastilles. They are packed with vitamin D and calcium. Not only are they easy to eat with their soft chewy consistency, they are visually appealing with a cute little face on each tablet. Plus I know that my kids are getting all of the goodness they need.

Our friends at Bassetts Vitamins have also created a fab code that you can use to get £2 off one pack of NEW Bassetts 3-6 Yrs Multivitamins Peach & Apricot + Calcium 30s at! All you need to do is sign in as normal, apply the code BASSMVS2 at the checkout and embrace #NoDullDays! You can only use the code once per transaction, and the code can only be redeemed on the first 5,000 valid claims until 23:59 on 12th November.*

Subject to Boots T&Cs.

Bassetts want to make sure every family share lots of fun moments daily, whatever the season. I think it’s safe to say we are Winter ready! Are you?

You’ve reminded me I need to book my flu vaccination. I’m a great believer in prevention. My kids also take multi vitamins.
