Working from home certainly has its benefits but can also have its downsides too. Like being able to snack throughout the day! Yes, I am guilty of grabbing a bag of crisps or a chocolate bar whilst I am trying to get through my workload. It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut with bad eating habits and then not get the exercise you need to burn it off due to sitting at a desk for long periods. It’s a vicious circle.

Shake That Weight is a VLCD, Very Low-calorie Diet. I am no stranger to this type of diet, as I have tried one out before. They can be a hard diet to get into at first as this replaces most of or all of your meals, depending on which plan you use. Saying that, once you get used to the routine and get through your first week it becomes much easier to maintain.
STW has an easy to use website where you can work out what plan is best suited to you. It asks questions such as sex, height, weight and lifestyle. All of which determine what plan is the most suitable and safest for you.
There is a vast amount of different foods and drinks available. I have selected a little of everything so I can give you an insight as to how it all tastes. The only thing I haven’t selected is the dessert bars, as I found these extremely sweet on the previous diet, so that kind of made me steer clear of those. The first thing that I noticed about the products is that they are a fraction of the price of other VLCD’s, which will save an absolute fortune.
Well, I am 3 days in on the STW diet and quite impressed already. I will be posting updates to share my thoughts and progress and hopefully some weight loss results too!
