I love decorating the boys rooms. We are often changing the themes to suit their ever changing interests in different TV characters/programmes. My youngest loves Mickey Mouse. He is totally obsessed! It looks like we will be going with a Mickey bedroom theme this time so I have put together a few of my top picks for a Disney inspired bedroom.
1 Mickey 3D Toddler Bed
I think character beds always make bedtime more fun. I love the 3d Mickey face at the end of the bed and the added side rails give peace of mind that little one isn’t going to go for a roll off the edge of the bed in the middle of the night!
This is such a novelty and something I know my youngest would love. I think it ties in quite nicely with the other items.
3 Bean Bag
You can’t go wrong with bean bags they are a great accessory for any room. Knowing my two, it would probably used as a landing pad to dive on to!
I just love bright duvet covers in the kids room. The more colourful the better. You could accessorise this with some plain red or yellow scatter cushions. I would have to make room amongst all the teddy bears first though.
You can’t beat a nice rug under your toes. Especially when you have wooden floors as the boys do. I like the size and shape of this rug. It would be a nice fit in smaller bedrooms.
6 Toy Organiser
I like the practicality of this. It would come in very handy to house some of the boys toys. I have seen some similar ideas but they look quite flimsy. This seems to be a good sturdy storage unit.
Finally, we have the Disney themed Velux blind. I love our roof windows as they make the rooms feel so airy and let loads of light in. This blind (like ours) is a black out blind so ideal for a little ones room so perfect for Summer time when the nights are lighter for longer.
Do you have little ones? Do they have a themed bedroom?
