Our Autumn Leaf Collage – Kicking Leaves

I love spending time doing crafts, but even more so with the little ones. We recently went on a scavenger hunt in the woods to collect some bits and bobs for our autumnal crafts.

We thought we could use up some of the leaves which we collected to make some kind of leaf collage.

Our Autumn Collage – Kicking Leaves

To make it more fun, I took a picture of my boy in a kicking stance. I then enlarged the picture of him so his body fit an A4 page, I then printed this off and cut it out.

We stuck 4 sheets of A4 card together at the back with some tape for our background.

Monkey stuck down his paper self! And started sticking on his leaves with PVA glue and a brush.

Once finished, leave to dry and voila! One fun leaf collage.

It doesn’t cost hardly anything to make. If like me and you like crafts, you would probably have all of this to hand already, and the kids have a bit of fun outside collecting their leaves.

Is this something your little one/s would enjoy? Have you made a collage? Feel free to share your links in the comments.

Like me? Then why not Pin me for later?

Excellent! My youngest wants to make collages out of everything from sweetie wrappers to leaves. I think it’s a great talent to pick something up and know how to make something creative out of it.
