Kitchen Essentials For Your Home

As a family we all enjoy spending time in the kitchen. Not only myself, but my husband enjoys baking and is very good at it too. The kiddies are also fond of baking. Perhaps not the youngest just yet, although he enjoys eating what has been made, but the older one loves nothing more than putting his hands to baking a cake or two.
I love the Autumnal months as you can cook up some lovely winter warming meals. Then it got me thinking of some of the things I need would like on my wish list.

Slow Cooker

I think these really are so useful for busy families. With so many Slow Cooker Recipes to choose from, you will never be undecided as to what you’re having for dinner. Mine recently gave up the ghost so this is going right on my wish list to hopefully be replaced in the upcoming weeks. I cannot emphasise enough how fab these things are.

KitchenAid Mixer

Who doesn’t love the Kitchen Aid?! I could soon whip up a feast with one of these beasts! The high gloss designs are stunning and I absolutely adore the variety of colours they come in.  I simply need one of these in my life.

SMEG Kettle

I love the shape of the Smeg kettles, they are so sleek with an awesome retro feel about them. I would love the toaster to match too. Chrome was my top choice as this would fit in perfectly with our colour scheme of greys.

Combination Microwave

microwaveI think the microwave has the most use in majority of houses and ours is no exception. I love how the Panasonic Microwave oven is so convenient. We don’t want our microwave for warming up convenience meals, we want to use it with fresh ingredients in mind. So Panasonic are perfect for us. With options to grill, steam and bake……

They not only cook all your food in half the time, but preserve its delicious flavour, vitamins and nutrients thanks to a revolutionary Turbo Steam technology.
The designs are flawless and bring style into the kitchen. These are a must for busy families, making light work of your cooking, so you can enjoy more time quality time together, winning all round!
With ours getting a little tired now, this will be a fab replacement option.

So that’s my ideal kitchen essentials, do you have any items you would just love in your kitchen?  What’s on your wishlist?

Hi Jayne, a slow cooker is a big time saver in the winter, I’d be lost without mine. My favourite things to make in them are soups, closely followed by casseroles (with dumplings of course!). I love the look of Kitchen Aid mixers but have a Kenwood Chef that is excellent, so have no excuse to splash out on one.

One kitchen essential I wouldn’t be without in the winter is my pressure cooker. It is also perfect for knocking up soups, especially when tie is short. I also use mine to cook dried beans in, in a fraction of the time it takes in a normal pan.

I do love my slow cooker. Last year I acquired a soup maker and it has been well used. Just chop, add stock, leave it for 20 minutes whilst I do something else and we have smooth soup. Delicious!

I love my slow cooker! I’ve also been reviewing the Lakeland Touch Screen Soup Maker (goes live next week) and I absolutely love it! It saves me time and effort as I don’t need to watch over a pan and then blend the soup after. You’ve chosen some lovely things here! I would love a kitchen aid stand mixer. I think I spend more time watching them doing their stuff than the GBBO contestants!
    Thanks for sharing!

I love the sound of a slow cooker, my kitchen is so small I would love a bigger one so I could maybe enjoy being in it and cooking, cooking is something I hate I would much prefer a huge pile of ironing than having to cook xx
