Having sensitive skin I always welcome good natural sources for skin care. I have recently came across Danish organic beauty specialist, Urtekram. I must admit I had not heard of these before but since being introduced I really like the products they have to offer. Urtekram was founded in 1972 and continues to grow from strength to strength. They are currently launching their new organic range. This is certified not only organic, but vegan, free from paragons, synthetic ingredients and artificial colours too. So no nasty’s at all. The collection consists of shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, cleansers, shower gels, soaps, scrubs, crystal deodorants hand creams and toothpaste. So pretty much everything you need!. They have such a lovely variety to choose from such as The Rose Range , Lavender, Aloe Vera, Nordic birch, No perfume, Calendula, Camomile, Brown Sugar and more. All are suitable for use by those suffering with allergies and those who have sensitive skin. Here are just a few products I have been trying.
No perfume liquid hand soap Having used the liquid hand soap the past few days I have noticed how considerably softer my hands felt after washing them. That is down to the Aloe vera and glycerine. It comes in a generous volume of 380ml. I would certainly use this again.
Rose Shampoo for dry hair This has a lovely fragrance without being too over powering. Also containing glycerin, aloe vera and sugar beet extract, it made my hair feel really smooth after applying. I really benefited from using this as my hair is quite dry. I use Straighteners on my hair, and even though I use heat protection spray, it still takes its toll. The condition of my hair had visibly improved. I would also use this again.
No perfume hand lotion I will definitely be investing in this when winter comes. When the colder weather strikes I always suffer from chapped hands, especially the knuckles and between the fingers. After rubbing just a small amount into my hands, they were noticeably softer. I would probably go as far as saying this is actually better than my normal brand which I’ve used for years. I will be stocking up on this.
Lavendar soap bar I am not a big fan of lavender so this would probably not be my first choice. Although I dislike the smell, the actual practicality of the soap was great. Yet again my hands felt just as soft as they did from using the hand lotion and liquid soap. I would certainly recommend giving this fab brand a try. And starting from £1.75 they are not going to break the bank and can be purchased from all good health shops.
