Weekend Box – Chinese New Year Activities

We have recently received our second Weekend Box to Review from the lovely Andy, and we have had just as much fun with all the fun packed activities as we did with the first box.

How it all began
Back in 2013 Andy was looking for gift ideas for his Nieces and Nephews, something fun yet educational. That’s when he came up with the concept for the Weekend box. It has now grown into a company and has delivered over 45,000 hours of quality time through the activity boxes.
Also making an appearance here on in a blog post written by Richard Branson himself.

The boxes have 4 activities –

Something Green- Things to Plant and up-cycle
Something to Eat – Healthy Recipes with secret ingredients
Something to Make – Craft kits with all materials
Something to Explore – Sensory Exploration Activities
The theme of this box is Chinese New Year which Monkey is familiar with, he is learning about this currently at school.

We made a Dragon, a Paper Plate Drum, Lanterns and some Fortune Cookies.
All the pre made kits contain the materials you need for each project.

We had lots of fun and it was an excellent pass time together on a wet and windy day.

You too can get your Little Ones involved by trying these out for yourselves!, I have a Special Code for you to get your first Box FREE using JAYNE40 when you sign up at Weekend Box Club.
